Felix and Fingers loves a good wedding, and THIS wedding reception was a prime example! We played in Monroe, Wisconsin at Turner Hall, and we’re so glad we did! The venue rocked. Who doesn’t want their reception at a “Swiss Emmenthal-style chalet,” equipped with a beautiful stage and the largest wooden dance floor in town! Seriously guys, if you’re thinking of getting married in Wisconsin, this is a great place for the reception, provided you have the right kind of entertainment to keep the party going 🙂 
The decorating party did an amazing job with setting up the Turner Hall stage before we rolled in with the piano shells, and once the shells were up, it was magic. Check it. Lights! Flags! Pianos! Action! From the moment we started the first dance to the last call, this group of Wisconsinites came to party. It’s like we could do no wrong (not that we do wrong) – the dance floor was packed for every song we played! Must be something in those Swiss floors at Turner Hall…
A Vineyard Wedding Ceremony
We also had the pleasure of providing music for the ceremony earlier that afternoon. It was a beautiful fall wedding, outdoors with perfect weather, and in keeping with the Swiss theme, set to music with a trio of Swiss Alphorn players. It was pretty epic seating music! The wedding party then hung out on the grounds before 
making their way to Turner Hall.
I forgot to mention that the dinner that night was amazing as well. They brought in local cheeses for the salads, and even gave away wedges of fresh Gouda cheese as party favors at the end of the night. Oh yeah…
University of Wisconsin Madison Weddings!
Speaking of cheese, this crowd couldn’t have been more of a die-hard Wisconsin group. We’ve played many weddings for University of Wisconsin Madison Badger fans, so we’re pretty used to the fanatical, but nothing compared to this! Anytime anything to do with “Wisconsin” was mentioned during the speeches, there was a roar from the crowd. The enthusiasm continually progressed throughout the evening until folks were eventually crowd surfing and dancing on table tops! We didn’t know what to do with ourselves other than cheer, take the next request, and continue to rock the night away! From Sweet Caroline to Roll out the Barrel to UW Varsity, this group loved their UW Madison culture.
