| Blog Note 1 | At the start of our show we did a few songs (that we each sing well) from a variety of genres to show how broad their requests could be. But it was about 20 minutes in, when we did the Piano Man harmonica-holding bit, that we got them cheering for one of their own, The area filled up - and we had them engaged the rest of the night |
| Blog Note 2 | Chris Gale had a request for The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, he set it up with he and I going back and forth with TV theme songs (~30 seconds each). The crowd really loved that - then he did the requested song and brought the house down. |
| Blog Note 3 | As usual, Pink Pony Club got a whole lot of people (especially the young women) singing. That and Mr Brightside got the youngest faction of the group (probably early 30s) singing the most. |
| Other Notes | The Venue AV contact, Brad Maestas, was VERY helpful and appreciative. It probably doesn't hurt that he is a musician - and that we had all our equipment organized and knew what we were doing, |
