Blog Note 1

The people seemed really into it. Lots of requests and dancing and smiles all around. A couple came up to me at the end and asked me about playing for them in Rhode Island, took down her number and gave her a card. The venue staff were very nice and one let Dan borrow a screwdriver. It was great playing with Dan, he's a great drummer too so a treat to have him on the key drums. There was dancing for about the last hour / hour and a half. We had a good time, a lot of 70s and 80s requests.

Blog Note 2

The venue itself was really beautiful and there was a lot of space for us to set up in. I was really glad that Dan brought extra extension cords, because my 100 foot cord was orange and he had a black cord that looked better with the rest of the gear. We definitely tired them out, most of the people were in their 50s or above, I'd say. There weren't many people there, but the people that were were really into it.

Blog Note 3

It was nerve wracking doing my first gig as a gear provider and Dan was really helpful. At least seventy five percent of the people who attended got up and danced! And the venue manager Chelsea (who I did a podcast with before we started) said people seemed to like it and we discussed getting in contact with her boss about more dates at this venue and the other ones they own.
