Manage Handwrytten Notes

This event was to raise funds for Little Chargers education center in Guthrie Center. Load in at the fairgrounds was a snap, with a garage door opening directly to our performance space. Big thanks to Erica for providing a detailed floor plan beforehand!

The theme was 80's Night, and there was a costume contest, live and silent auctions, and games. Our performance had the auction in the middle, which was a great time to try the Pac-Man mini-cabinet. And I have to shout out the organizers for their creativity: the option to "Put baby in a corner", AKA pay to make your friend sit in a corner alone, after which "baby" can pay to get out, was a great was to raise funds.

The crowd was ready to party and gave us 80's requests through the whole show, which Jake and I were happy to provide. From expected tunes like "Take me home tonight" and 'Working for the weekend" to more obscure ones like "Karma Chameleon" and "Nothin' but a good time", my 80's pop songbook got a real workout at this one!
