I did not play the first dance live as it was the only song on the list of live songs for the dances that I didn't fully learn. | |

Blog Note 1 | Last night's wedding began with a cocktail hour and a background music playlist to set the mood. As guests headed to dinner, we introduced the wedding party and hosted the special dances for the bride, groom, and their families. After some heartfelt speeches, we started playing 30 minutes before dinner ended, keeping the vibe light and enjoyable. Guests gradually made their way to the dance floor, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. |
Blog Note 2 | Blog Note 2: Opening the Dance Floor with a Special Moment We officially opened the dance floor with a special song to honor couples married for a long time, with one couple celebrating 70 years of marriage! This touching moment transitioned into a night of fun, especially once we announced the dance floor was open. The bride and groom's friends brought incredible energy, and the crowd went wild when we played "Pink Pony Girl" by Chappell Roan—everyone was fully immersed in the celebration. |
Blog Note 3 | Blog Note 3: A Night to Remember for All As the night went on, we could barely keep up with the song requests, and the energy stayed high until the very end. The evening concluded with a beautiful private dance for the bride and groom before their send-off. Kristen, our contact, and the groom, Christopher O'Meare, expressed their gratitude and excitement, sharing how much everyone had enjoyed the night. It truly was a wedding to remember! |
Other Notes | The wedding planner came to me with a few last minute changes from the bride that were not on the PDF. I was able to accommodate most changes but one change involving the Father/Daughter dance had a transition from 1 song into the next that was different than the one given to me via PDF and that I had practiced repeatedly. When it came time to do the dance the transition was a little clunky. I UPLOADED VIDEO TO GDRIVE AS IT WOULDN'T UPLOAD HERE! |
