Manage Handwrytten Notes

Jake and I arrived at the Healy Hollow farm with plenty of time to set up for Isabelle and Trent's wedding. We met with wedding planner Bridget several times during and after sound check to coordinate the schedule. She made sure we knew the dinner plans and our seating arrangement, and showed us a handy space on site to store gear bags.

The ceremony was outside; Jake set up one speaker under the back awning and I relayed to him when the parties were walking out to be seated. The wedding's most memorable moment was definitely when the brief rain stopped and Isabelle, Trent and their doggy did the recessional under a gorgeous and very-well-timed rainbow.

The Duelling show was very well received: we had no shortage of requests and the dance floor was never empty. The bride and groom had special requests which Jake and I fit into the show. I thought these tunes would be obscure, so it was pretty surprising to see the entire crowd knew all the lyrics to the Phil Vasser tune I performed. What a fun couple and group!
