Blog Note 1: The CEO Soak Event Kickoff

Last night marked the 4th Annual CEO Soak, an incredible event supporting ALS research. CEOs gathered to take on the cold plunge challenge, dedicating their efforts to raising awareness for a cure. The evening started with a brief intro about ALS, led by me with a script from Savannah, the event planner. From there, we jumped into lively dueling pianos, setting the tone with upbeat music as guests began mingling and enjoying the fun atmosphere.

Blog Note 2: The Ice Plunge Challenge

After about an hour of music and mingling, we moved on to the night's main event—4 groups of CEOs took the plunge into an ice bath for 90 seconds each! I had the honor of MC'ing, engaging with each participant during their plunge, asking how they felt, and sharing facts about ALS. For instance, 5,000 people are diagnosed with ALS annually in the U.S. ALS is more common in men, and it often limits key physical abilities over time.

Blog Note 3: Closing the Night with Music and Fun

Once all the brave CEOs had completed their icy challenge and posed for a group photo, we brought the energy back with crowd-favorite tunes. It was a perfect way to cap off the night, which was not only fun but impactful. ALS affects 15 new people daily in the U.S., and raising awareness through events like these is vital for finding a cure. Here's to another successful year of CEO Soak, full of laughter, music, and making a difference!
