Handwrytten - Felix And Fingers Dueling Pianos

Manage Handwrytten Notes

Gig Score from player (1-5)3

The gig on our side was alright, but the client wished we had been able to play more. I don't think they realized just how long awards and auctions take, so a lot of our performance time was eaten up by rotating between all 3. The rotating format is fun when there's enough time allocated, but the client expressed disappointment in how little we were able to play. We only got to 5 or 6 songs during the program, then we had maybe 25 minutes of the actual dueling portion, at which point most everyone was leaving. She said she loved what we were able to do, though!

Reason For No Review

While we got lots of requests, and they enjoyed what we did, they were bummed at how little we had time to do. I don't know if that would color the review negatively.

Blog Note 1

The food station was a perfect southern dinner catered by Babe's Chicken. Fried and hickory smoked chicken, biscuits, gravy, and all the classic fixin's! The wine and beer was flowing all night.

Blog Note 2

The auctioneer was at the top of his game. He lassoed in lots of bids throughout the night for items ranging from gun safes to boat rides while the silent auction took place in the back.

Blog Note 3

Clad head to toe in a gold zoot suit, Jimmy got the crowd going with a motivational speech. He had people high-fiving, hugging, laughing, and more with his antics.
