| Blog Note 1 | Scott met us as we were loading in and was super pumped about the event. He even provided us with ipads, linked to a QR code, to track digital requests. It seemed to help encourage donations, and people still added cash to bump up requests. |
| Blog Note 2 | It was a night of firsts for me. At least 5 of the tunes I played were the first time I performed them, and I must say they went over pretty well. And the audience seemed to enjoy me being candid about the songs. |
| Blog Note 3 | We did two sets with a break in the middle for Scott to do a presentation and play some songs with his guitar. True to form, the crowd was mild in the first set as they were eating and chatting, but the second set? They just danced. They had such a good time that we played an extra half hour. Those moments are when it's really fun to do this job. I think we raised over $3k for the foundation too! |
