Manage Handwrytten Notes

This event was at the gorgeous, old-fashioned Hotel Fort in downtown Des Moines. Hotel staff at the front desk and working the event were super helpful, especially by showing me the way to the all-important service elevator which made load in and out a snap.

We met with Tyler, our contact at Heartland Retirement, during set-up. He went over the light program, just dinner, a presentation in the main ballroom, and the piano show in our ballroom following that. Everything went on schedule and we started in right at 9.

It took only minutes to get a good group of tables into our ballroom and rocking out. My rap tunes got a real workout this time, and between 90's hip hop, 00's pop and some classic Billy Joel and Elton, we had them dancing, singing and having a good time for the whole show.
