Manage Handwrytten Notes

This event was held in the Tilden City Auditorium/old gymnasium, where we played at half court in the round. Stuart and his staff were all super helpful, getting us power and cracking jokes with us while we set up. We could tell this was a fun bunch!

The schedule for the evening was light, just drinks and an old high school cheer to announce the start of the BBQ dinner. I definitely used the same cheer to pump up the crowd at the start of our show.

Our pianos were covered with requests only a few minutes in, and the gig was high energy all the way to midnight. We had several party tables bringing their own energy. A highlight for me was the demand that we bring Laura up to perform the I'm A Little Teapot dance, which she did only when accompanied by several younger helpers (see top pic).
