Blog Note 1

I hadn't played the Cedar Ridge show before, and was glad Jim had and knew the best access to the performance area, an alley through the outdoor mash area of the distillery with vats and barrels everywhere. As a bourbon fan, this was all pretty cool to see and smell.

Blog Note 2

Ashton met with us during setup and made sure we had everything we need and that got our dinner orders in before the ticketed crowd arrived. The restaurant there is still great!

Blog Note 3

The crowd was into watching and listening more than filling the dance floor, but we had them singing along from the top of the show. 50's/60's tunes and 80's country were coming up alongside 90's hip hop and classic rock. A highlight for me was when Jim hastily learned a requested Spanish song, followed by my Hawkeye fight song bringing down the house.
