Manage Handwrytten Notes

This was my 2nd year playing the Williamsburg Boosters athletics club fundraiser, so there were no surprises for me! The venue was the same large indoor athletic center south of town, with us playing on a 3 foot stage under the track. During setup we met with Nate King, who remembered me from the 1st year's event and made sure we had power and knew what to do during dinner.

We also went over the light program with Nate, which involved a live auction and silent bids halfway through the piano show. As a Hawkeye and NFL fan, it was genuinely awesome watching signed Iowa jerseys like Kittle, Hockenson, Laporta, and a Caitlin Clark basketball bring in big donations for the club.

This group was ready to party for the piano show! 90's rap and classic rock were the biggest hits. We had a small core of dancers out of their seats early, which expanded to the Piano man closer. A highlight was when we got $100 to call down Brett, who had no intention of being serenaded and slammed down $200 to get away from the stage. All for a good cause!
