Clearer communication between F/F and venue about sound needs and offers. When we arrived we realized that the room was already outfitted with a sound system and was quite large. But, when we asked to tap into their sound system to make sure we were heard by all on and off stage, it was a bit of a shock to them that we would want to use their setup to enhance ours. It was resolved pretty easily on site but there was definitely confusion on behalf of the venue. I think for next time we clarify this with them as far as packaging etc.

With seating offered on stage to VIP it offered us chances to joke with, dance with, and sing with the few people who were seated on stage. One couple was amazing, very invested and requesting with generous tips all evening.

One of the men on stage was wearing a bolo tie and suit, and after a set of hip hop and 90’s rock we joked with him about doing a country set to make him feel better. He and his wife enjoyed the banter and he came up after the show to thank us for joking with him.

There was a small dance floor area and it was used! People were up dancing on many songs and singing along all night - very engaged crowd who loved tunes like Sweet Caroline and Bye Bye Bye!

Nice folks and willing to help. But at times we needed to chase folks down to get power, lights, and sound running.
