Blog Note 1

This was my first wedding that I had to set everything up and break everything down. Do the ceremony and all the special dances by myself. I was a little nervous but somehow everything went great . I pulled up to load the equipment in and the Owners of the venue showed me a better area to pull around too. And that was great because I was able to get my equipment in quicker.

Blog Note 2

I used my EV everse 8 speaker which is battery powered and smaller for the ceremony in the cocktail hour. That made it much easier to move around and still sounded great for everybody in a hundred plus wedding to hear perfectly. I also have new cordless mics that are wireless completely. Meaning there's no unit to plug in it just isn't antenna that has battery. So I was completely without cords for the reception and ceremony.

Blog Note 3

This venue was Beautifully rustic and also Modern at the same time so the temperature was controlled well. Great place for a wedding i'm glad I got lots of Pictures. There was a moment in the ceremony where the couple asked me to stop the song for a pause. As a horse and carriage pulled up to the ceremony spot and then ask me to wait and then hit the music at the right time which became a beautiful moment for the couple and everyone in the whole party.

Blog Note 4

I jumped on a golf cart with the lady who owns than you and I easily moved my speaker from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and set that up as just people arriving. So music started exactly as they walked over. When everything was working right? I went into the reception area and make sure that everything was still working right and got the music ready for when they walked in from cocktail hour to dinner.

Blog Note 5

Wedding party intros were a little hard to do on my own because there were so many songs . But somehow nothing went wrong. And then I went straight into the dances which also worked well. That's when we started dinner and my piano partner arrived. And then we started the doing piano show after the speeches and they instantly jumped on the dance floor. And stayed the whole time. It was a great wedding and a great reception.

Other Notes

Before I left, the lady who owns the barn and her mother were talking to me and said that this is the best music they've ever had for any event there. She took a lot of video and I gave her a felix and finger request request slip so she could see the number and she said that she Would love to have us back.
