Manage Handwrytten Notes

The Madrid theatre is a beautiful venue but I gave the gig 3 stars because the stage is 5 feet off the ground so it was difficult for the piano players to connect or interact with the audience, compared to being on the floor or on a lower stage that would allow people to hand their requests to the piano players easier, and also most of the audience were sitting at tables closer to the bar area which is on the other side of the room. I thought we did a good job despite these obstacles. We were basically background music but we weren't loud so people could talk without having to yell at each other. There were some songs that quite a few people got up to dance.

We played most of the requests that audience members gave us and played most of the requests that we were given before the show. I enjoyed working with Max Indiveri again. He played his first dueling piano show with my piano show company nearly 4 years ago. He's improved a lot and has learned quite a few dueling piano show songs. He's very enthusiastic and entertaining. Max still needs more training though for dueling pianos and some songs he needs to work on his vocals more. Perhaps Nick Carswell or Kevin Coon can help Max, by giving him some direction so that he can fulfill his potential as a dueling piano player. I thought Max did a good job overall, he's very personable and likeable. I could tell he's been putting in the time to become a better dueler. He's actually a very good guitar player but his piano skills have improved significantly since the last time I worked with him, which was over 2 years ago.

Sam Parrish stepped up and did a fine job as the lead player. Both Sam and Max talked to the audience trying to get audience members to interact with us. Sam and Max were a good team. In regard to the two questions below, I though we did the best we could to please the client and we represented F&F well. Visually, the pianos and drums looked awesome on the big stage and the 3 of us dressed nice and looked professional.
