Handwrytten - Felix And Fingers Dueling Pianos

Manage Handwrytten Notes

Gig Score from player (1-5)4

My keyboard drumming has improved since my previous shows, but I still think I can do better with crash and snare hits on choruses and ending of songs. I do believe it is something that will naturally improve as I get more playing experience.

While we had a small crowd of dancers throughout the show, I was expecting more people would want to join in. I think a big reason the dance floor wasn't as packed was because much of the party was held on the second floor of the venue, and we were on the first floor. Despite this, by the end of the night, everyone was singing along, and a larger crowd made it to the floor.

Blog Note 1

I made the few kids at the event smile and dance when I played a Toy Story song.

Blog Note 2

Despite being in south Florida summer, we didn't feel a drop of rain throughout the evening.

Blog Note 3

The load-in was a very short distance, which saved us a lot of energy.

Blog Note 4

My rapping debut has finally taken place. I was able to rap some of my favorite songs tonight, which is not something I get to do often.

Blog Note 5

I have never seen so many song requests at a single gig. People were excited to participate.

Other Notes

The client was extremely friendly and didn't pressure us in any way. The venue was extremely accommodating and communicative. I would rate them both five stars and would be happy to perform for them again.
