The place was really lovely; kind of a rehabbed old building right in the shadow of the Colts' stadium.

This was an event for a McLaren sponsor, Arrow, that was designed as a mixer for a lot of corporate people attending the Indy 500 the following day. It was cool to be there for the Q/A with their driver. (There were also a couple of McLaren production cars out front. V pretty.)

Such a chill vibe for the evening. We played as people came in, and as they were finishing dinner. We didn't get a ton of requests, but we did get a lot of compliments on our playing.

About 30 minutes before we finished, we could tell that people were starting to engage and sing along at their tables. Our biggest singing tune was "Sweet Caroline," and they sang standing up at their respective tables.

There was the absolute best mullet in the audience. I'm mad I didn't get a photo with the dude. Most people should never wear a mullet, and then there are people who make it look natural. This dude made it a piece of art.
