Blog Note 1

Very unique venue in the St Louis area. Quirky architecture, landscaping and layout. Very welcome venue staff/owner, and a fun and different location for an event!

Blog Note 2

This daytime wedding was clearly going to be very different. With lots of people milling around, and the shortest wedding ceremony I've ever seen, it was all about folks socializing, enjoying company and partying! Great vibes.

Blog Note 3

The music started with some background instrumental piano to accompany the brief ceremony, and the live show started with some covers to set the mood, easing into the afternoon of sunshine, drinks and fun. It took a little while for requests to flow in, as folks enjoyed the heavy hors d'oeuvres and the lovely weather outside.

Blog Note 4

When requests came in, we had everything from Alicia Keys to Sam Cooke, and the usual suspects with Billy Joel and Elton John. As people filtered back down after eating, there was some singalong and chill dancing while the party went on.

Blog Note 5

We finished up with more singalong and one guest jumping on the mic for Goodbye Earl. Several other requests that most people know the words, including Journey, etc., set us off for the next leg of the party - leaving the venue and heading for downtown St Louis. A very fun and different way to do a wedding!
