Last weekend, Robert and I drove up to Whitewater Country Club for an amazing wedding day. It started off not so great, since it was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony and it poured rain on me the whole drive up, but in the end nearly everything went perfectly.
A Wedding Ceremony at Whitewater Country Club
Yes it rained, but by the time I arrived it was sunny. And then cloudy. And then sunny. And it pretty much kept going back and forth the whole time I was setting up. It can be a little nerve wracking to set up expensive electronic equipment with the fear of rain. Luckily I had a tent to set up under. Remember early when I said “nearly everything went perfectly?” Well the only the thing that didn’t work out was my tent. A huge gust of wind tore it from the ground and destroyed it. (see picture) As soon as that happened the sun came out, and we had a wonderful outdoor wedding ceremony.
Party Time at Whitewater Country Club
Afterwards we all headed inside to being the dinner and dancing. It was so much fun for everyone, including Robert and me. We started off with some light music light “Fly Me to the Moon” and “The Luckiest” during dinner, to set the mood. Once everyone finished eat, we did first dances and then kicked into our dueling pianos show. Nothing like dancing to Beyonce, Billy Joel, and Bon Jovi within ten minutes of each other! The best part about our shows is that we play some of everything! Top 40, classic rock, country… You name it! We had nor shortage of requests. They came in all nigh and we kept people dancing and singing until we had to shut it down!
