What a breeze the Stone Harbor Wedding Event was for Felix and Fingers! We had had a wedding here the previous night so for set-up, we didn’t have to move a thing. What a great coincidence it was that we had consecutive bookings at the same venue. Not only did it make the set up easier, we really had a chance to experience all that the venue offers as well as the area. We spent our day before the wedding touring the shopping area of Sturgeon Bay and loved it. What a fun and charming town. Stone Harbor is Door County, Wisconsin’s largest convention center. You will find it right on the water in just the perfect spot. We really came to love this venue after performing there for two nights in a row. We hope to return for another engagement soon. Fun, Cake, and More Fun
This wedding reception started off with a lovely first dance to Ray LaMontagne’s You’re the Best Thing. And while we played a few more slow and romantic songs throughout the evening, we were inundated with Boy Band requests. We have to admit, it was pretty fun. This crew had a great time dancing to the likes of Back Street Boys’ Everybody, MMM Bop by Hanson, and New Kids on the Block’s You Got It. How fun! We also had some great classic rock requests. We must say, we never tire of playing Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones. Our performers kept the party going all night but sadly, instead of staying at the hotel as they did the previous night, they headed on home to prepare for another great show. And by the way, the Stone Harbor Wedding Event had one of the most delicious and creative wedding cakes we have experienced. Delicious!
