Felix and Fingers had a blast ringing in the New Year at the SentryWorld wedding event! This amazing country club is located in Steven’s Point, Wisconsin. Whether you are planning an intimate gathering, or a large reception, SentryWorld has the knowledge and experience to make your dreams comes true. Congratulations John and Rikki!
SentryWorld Wedding Event New Year’s Eve
The SentryWorld wedding event was held on New Year’s Eve in the Atrium ballroom overlooking a beautiful, snowy Wisconsin evening. Our performers for the SentryWorld wedding event were Robert Deason and James Gritschke. These guys are an incredible dueling piano duo and love to bring an audience together with their interactive show. Being this was a New Year’s Eve wedding, there was no excuse for anyone not to celebrate. Guests arrived in suits and sparkle. The Atrium ballroom was an event to remember. For example, there were beautifully decorated Christmas trees and poinsettias throughout the venue. Above all, SentryWorld’s staff were some of the friendliest and accommodating employees we have ever worked with. If you would like to tour SentryWorld please click here
Our performers had plenty of time to set up their show since the bride and groom opted for an intimate dinner at Muse. This is indeed an upscale and elegant restaurant located within SentryWorld supporting and recognizing the venues art history. Not only does Muse focus on outstanding service, but culinary presentation ensures an outstanding meal. If you are interested in dining at Muse please click here. After a delightful dinner everyone met up in the ballroom where the huge party was waiting. To begin with, Robert and Jim performed a mix of light music during cocktail hour. Songs such as By Your Side by Sade and Stay With Me by Sam Smith were a hit with the crowd as they enjoyed an impressive appetizer bar. Mouthwatering mac and cheese bites, quesadillas and buffalo wings received yummy approval from hungry guests.
Delicious New Year’s Eve Potatoes
Felix and Fingers have enjoyed their share of good food. The SentryWorld wedding event dinner had AMAZING food. To be honest, the potatoes were TO DIE FOR. We had no clue what was in these awesome carbs, but they could have eaten the creamy sliced potatoes all night long. One of the evening’s highlights was a surprise to the bride’s father. John (the groom) held a live performance singing Daddy’s Little Girl by Michael Buble as Rikki held her first dance with her dad. The wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
We would like to note that the bride is a HUGE advocate for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. As a matter of fact, Rikki had one of her “little sisters” in the wedding party. It was awesome to see her having a great time on the dance floor. On the other hand, the crowd was having a great time teaching her moves to YMCA by The Village People. There was a giant projector screen on the wall that helped us countdown and we rang in the New Year with kisses and champagne. John and Rikki went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Apparently Steven’s Point bars stay open all night long on NYE. The bride and groom invited us to the after party and bought us drinks. Robert and Jim had a FUN time celebrating the New Year being “off-duty”!

In conclusion, working on NYE is somewhat bittersweet for us as we are not with family or get to midnight kiss our significant other. But to tell the truth, we get to celebrate and play an AMAZING show with our dueling piano partner and a HUGE group of AWESOME people who are having the best time of their lives. Now THAT is what makes us HAPPY. We sincerely love what we do and we do it best.
