The Olde 41 Hard Rock wedding was right up our alley. Felix and Fingers took a trip to Green Bay, Wisconsin to play for the wedding of Justin and Raven. Congrats to the hard rock loving bride and groom!
Olde 41 Hard Rock Wedding
Let’s start by describing this awesome venue. It is a truly unique banquet facility that is on the second floor of the Vandervest Harley Davidson Dealership. It has a great log cabin kind of feeling with it’s super high wood beamed ceiling and wood chinked walls. The patio overlooks their outdoor ceremony area and Duck Creek, creating a great natural background for your big day. 
The inside mezzanine overlooks the showroom below so your guests can dream of owning one of these magnificent machines. You can find Olde 41 right off Highway 41, obviously, and your out of town guests will be happy to know that there is a hotel within walking distance. We truly enjoyed playing at Olde 41’s premier banquet facility and hope to head north in the near future to return. Click here to read more about this great venue.
Hard Rock Themed Wedding
What could be better for Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos than a hard rock themed wedding? Nothing we can think of! And we love all musical genres so hard rock was great with us. Our favorite? Instead of table numbers, each table was designated by a hard rock band. There were tables named Nirvana, White Stripes, and System of a Down, for example. Two friends of the couple sang Love Song by The Cure. It was a lot of fun as their accompaniment. We had so many hard rock requests and we just had an absolute blast trying to keep up with them. Groups such as The Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains, and Soundgarden kept us very busy. Even the ballads stayed in this genre with songs such as November Rain from Guns N Roses.
There were some very touching moments at this Olde 41 hard rock wedding. The groom made sure to include his new step-daughter with her own special ring, vows, and dance. That sure had some guests tearing up just a bit. Then their daughter gave her own “milk and cookies” toast. What a great idea that was to integrate this new family. It was a fabulous night for all. The couple then made their grand exit to Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters through a tunnel of their guests holding up and waving lighters.
