In the historic 3rd ward of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Pfister Hotel is classic elegance and worked really well for this style fundraiser. This Pfister Hotel Fundraiser was for the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation. Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos enjoyed performing for a great cause in a great venue.
Pfister Hotel Fundraiser
The hotel had tons of space for this big event. Additionally, the beautiful space, the decorated ceiling, and the elegant curtains added so much ambiance to the place. Moreover, this fundraiser used the space very efficiently. The walk around fundraiser had tons of distribution centers and wineries that were there paired with excellent restaurant offerings. Everyone received a glass and had the opportunity to try whatever they wanted. The event had about 700 people attending, and the hotel used both 7th-floor ballrooms, as well as the resource rooms on either side, all opened up for guests.
Dueling Pianos for the Pfister Hotel Fundraiser
They positioned us at the L of the main room and the resource rooms and we pumped sound to about two-thirds of the crowd. We had plenty of classic requests like “Piano Man” and other hits from our repertoire that kept the crowd entertained as they visited different booths. Guests enjoyed the live music while they traveled around the fundraiser. We even had an older couple stop by and request a song and they danced for a while before continuing on with the rest of the fundraiser. The Pfister Hotel Fundraiser had excellent wine and food all around. As well, we donated all of our tips back! With any fundraisers we play at, we donate our tips back towards the cause or foundation, often times exceeding $1000!
