July, 2022 took Felix and Fingers to one of America’s largest outdoor summer music concerts and we had an absolute blast! Yest, this Milwaukee Summerfest Public Concert gig was one of our all time favorites.
Milwaukee Summerfest Public Concert Venue
If you haven’t been to Milwaukee Summerfest yet, you have no idea what you’re missing. This summer concert event offers tons of headliners that will knock your socks off. There is definitely something for every musical taste and names so big you’ll be screaming for tickets. We played one of the earlier shows at the BMO Harris Pavilion Stage. Later that night, this stage was hosting the Steve Miller Band. The crew was awesome in getting us loaded in and sound checked super easily.
This music fest is truly one of the best around. There is so much going on with food, games, events, and definitely music, music, and more music. Rock Star Stage and Rock Star Songs
When on a stage like the BMO Harris Pavilion Stage at Summerfest, we obviously feel like famous rock stars. Maybe we’re not quite as famous as some who would be playing there this summer, but we’re pretty sure we put on a rockin’ good show. Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody knocked everyone socks off. Everyone was singing loud and proud. Our performer, Jake, even coached them on how to do a nice loud falsetto to “Let Me Go!!!” It was beyond awesome.
Bob Seger’s Old Time Rock and Roll had our guys hitting our pianos with not only their fingers, but their feet and even their heads. It was WILD! The audience was shouting out requests left and right and our expert player, Mike, did a mash up to get all requests in. This is one of his specialties. He presented a musical journey with everything from Jerry Lee Lewis’ Great Balls of Fire to Wild Child by The Black Keys in under four minutes. He is a genius indeed.
