Right between Madison and Milwaukee, you will find the town of Johnson Creek, Wisconsin and the Millford Hills Hunt Club. That was the venue for this Millford Hills Wedding Party and it was quite the party. Felix and Fingers has played for weddings in all sorts of venues and you might think this was our first time in a hunt club, but no, we’ve been everywhere.
Millford Hills Wedding Party
The Millford Hills Hunt Club is a 500 acre property with a pub and shooting range open to the public and hunting for its members. It is also a premier wedding destination. It’s beautiful grounds make the perfect backdrop for your special day. You’ll have your ceremony under an arbor overlooking the water. You’ll find the indoor reception space uniquely rustic. Since it’s a hunt club, the walls are adorned with prize wolves, bears, and other wild game. The lighting is customized to look like deer antlers. A Wedding Mosh Pit–Now That’s a First
Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos had seen it all until this Millford Hills Wedding Party. It seems the bride and groom were huge fans of 90’s grunge rock. After a few of the drinks kicked in, the music they grew up with in high school and college brought out a totally different side to the party and 
mosh pit ensued. Crazy! Songs like Far Behind from Candlebox, Lithium by Nirvana, and Soundgarden’s Outshined had this group going wild. Our performers Jennifer and Jeremy kept up the energy all night. The reception took place in two separate rooms but we found the room we were in to be the most popular. It was fun to see people running in when they heard one of their favorite songs.
Even though this was a pretty hard rocking group, we find that certain songs are always popular at weddings and will really be the ones to bring everyone out on the dance floor. That was true at the Millford Hills Wedding Party too. Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline, We are Family from Sister Sledge, and Garth Brooks infamous I Got Friends were huge hits with this crowd too. We had a blast at this wedding reception and we know the guests did too. Congratulations to our bride and groom on one awesome wedding day!
