Felix and Fingers LOVE Wisconsin weddings. The Tinsmith Wedding Celebration was one special event. We had our crowd singing and dancing to top hits and golden oldies all night long. Our performers for this super fun wedding were Sam Baker and Jennifer Lee Knuth. They rocked Madison, Wisconsin and rolled out of town leaving their audience happy. Felix and Fingers wish Kaitlyn and Thys a lifetime of love and happiness!
The Tinsmith Wedding Celebration Madison Wisconsin
Pulling up to The Tinsmith had us drop our jaw. This is indeed one incredible venue. Not only are there tons of unique spaces, but there’s a huge solarium, ceremony room and a large reception hall. The Tinsmith proudly displays it’s mid-century, modern venue with a gorgeous greenhouse entryway. If you’d like further information on The Tinsmith, please click here.
The bride and groom chose to start our live show during cocktail hour. Felix and Fingers will work with you and customize you special day like no other. When our dueling show started (in the solarium), everyone formed a giant dance circle. As we played One I Got by Charlie Wilson, a youngster (Nick), ran into the center and danced like crazy. He was pulling out all his best moves and even started breakdancing. A highlight of our show indeed!
Super Dads and Long Distance Videos
The groom was from South Africa and since his family was not in attendance, there were videos sent in and played during dinner speeches. Furthermore, the father-of-the-bride gave a long, but sentimental speech. It was obvious how proud he was of his daughter. Such a sweet speech. Teared us up and we don’t even know them!
After a delicious dinner and tasty cake, this crowd wanted to party. Did you happen to know a Wisconsin party staple is a brandy Old Fashioned? As a matter of fact, it’s their signature drink. At one point during our show, a few dads picked up their kids and danced with them on their shoulders. We couldn’t resist playing You’ve Got a Friend in Me by Randy Newman. It was a silly moment that everyone loved.
As the night came to an end, we DJ’d Sandstorm by DaRude and the groom danced like crazy. The Tinsmith Wedding Celebration was a high-energy, super-fun group. The only time our mighty crowd wasn’t on the dance floor was when they were getting more drinks!
