Landing Barn Wedding Burlington
On a rainy day in June, our performers Jim Gritschke and T. Duncan Parker headed out to perform at one of Wisconsin’s most popular wedding venues; The Landing 1841. In all honesty, this barn has a very unique layout offering endless possibilities. Furthermore, the Landing 1841 caters to indoor and outdoor events while providing an astonishing rich and cultural history. If you are interested in The Landing’s history please click here. Felix and Fingers had luck on their side when the rain literally stopped right before the Landing barn wedding began.
Felix and Fingers performed a traditional wedding march as Kaylee walked down the aisle surrounded by family and friends. The inside of The Landing 1841 barn is stunning. During cocktail hour our performers played light country music such as Loving You Easy by the Zac Brown Band as guests enjoyed views of the White River.
Dancing Lessons and Alumni
Above all, the Landing Barn wedding food was amazing. This was due to the fact that Joshua and Kaylee designing a knock out menu catered from The Smoke Shack. Hence, high quality smoked pulled pork and a variety of mouth watering BBQ items had guests licking their fingers shamelessly. Felix and Fingers had a drummer and lead guitar player join them for the Landing barn wedding. This addition rounded out our sound keeping guests on the dance floor all night. As a matter of fact, most of the wedding party were alumni from the University of Illinois. Felix and Fingers fired up their pianos and performed an amazing rendition of the William Tell Overture by Rossini. The alumni went nuts and packed the dance floor to the “Finale”. At one point our performer Jim stood up and showed the crowd how to dance like Tina Turner. To tell the truth, it was the groom that needed specific dancing lessons. In short, Proud Mary by Tina Turner had the groom giving Ike Turner a run for his money.
