Felix and Fingers recently dueled at a Lake Delton Police winter fundraiser held in Wisconsin Dells, WI. This event raised money for the community programs the department puts on throughout the year. For this event, the Lake Delton Police rented out Bobber’s Island Grill, a venue known for their fresh seafood and live music. They even have an outdoor area with a sand pit for children to play in as they wait for their food. For more information about Bobber’s, please visit their website.
Lake Delton Police Winter Fundraiser
On January 23, 2018, the Lake Delton Police Association hosted their annual winter fundraiser. Bobber’s Restaurant gave us a great space to play in, and staff was contentious and spirited. Throughout the evening, the police chief invited guests to donate in various ways: a silent auction, raffle, and bingo. We accompanied the events with quiet but lively music, and guests had a wonderful time.
Playing Beneath the Lights
At night, Bobber’s Restaurant turns into a club called Reef. The staff turned on all the club lights for us to play under, and everyone loved it! Once the fundraiser was over, guests hit the dance floor with a fervor only off-duty police officers have. As we played, many guests requested hard rock and, to our surprise, rap songs. At one point in the evening, a couple of the guests even requested Enrique Iglesias’ song Hero and asked if we would dedicate it to the local fire department as a prank in their friendly rivalry. These guests knew how to make a fundraiser even more fun with classic moves like the sprinkler and the worm. It was such a fun and successful event, and we are thankful to have been a part of it.
