Felix and Fingers crossed the Illinois/Wisconsin border to play for this Beloit Ironworks Hotel wedding. We found an exceptional venue as well as a hard-partying, dance til dawn crowd.
Ironworks Hotel Wedding
This gorgeous venue on the banks of the Rock River is a bride’s dream. The outdoor ceremony location with its waterfront views is stunning. There is also an outdoor patio that your guests will love when they want to take a break from dancing or when they just want to admire the serene view. We loved playing here at the Ironworks Hotel. Mainly, we loved the food. We sampled a steak dish and a chicken dish. Both were excellent and we must add that the potatoes were out of this world. Simply, this was elegant food prepared well. We highly recommend this luxury boutique hotel for your upcoming wedding or special event. You will find an excellent staff, delicious catering, and gorgeous views. Five Hour Dance Party
This Ironworks Hotel wedding began on the smaller side with about 70 people for dinner. 
We began the evening by playing some really nice mid-tempo music for people to subtly groove along to during the cocktail hour. After dinner, however, more friends arrived and the party doubled in size. We were lucky to be able to play at the end of a long room. This is our ideal as our speakers don’t have to split the distance from the middle. Makes for a great show with great acoustics.
Our performers played a two hour dueling piano show. Following that, they went on to play three hours as DJ’s. That’s a total of 5 whole hours of music. We were quite impressed with this crowd as the dance floor was never less than packed! Again, that’s 5 hours of dancing! What a crazy group of party animals. They went wild for old songs such as Get Down On It by Kool & The Gang and also many of the newer songs. We also had a ton of requests for the early 2000’s such as Party Up (Up In Here) by DMX. We’re happy to report that our performers Donna and Michael had no problems sustaining maximum energy throughout the entire evening. 
Although they were pretty happy when they were finally able to hit the cupcake and doughnut table!
