Wausau Wisconsin is home to The Great Dane, a fantastic venue/brewery that recently hosted a Dueling Pianos Event. United Way’s Emerging Leader’s rented the banquet space for a holiday party. Dueling Pianos was the only way to go!

Craft beer is a huge trend in entertainment and The Great Dane is doing it right. It’s always fun loading into a venue and seeing pallets of hops just waiting to be used in the next custom batch of whatever amazing brew they’re developing. The Great Dane is a fantastic restaurant/bar that stands alone as a weekend destination, but the expansive building also houses banquet space. And I don’t know about you, but if I want to throw a party, renting out a brewery seems like a great way to go! They have a few spaces for banquets, so regardless of your guest list, The Great Dane is an easy option for Wausau Events, especially weddings and corporate functions.

United Way Emerging Leaders
The United Way Emerging Leaders group was certainly an impressive collection of people. These young business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders are obviously passionate about making changes in there community. This is a crowd that is perfect for a dueling pianos show…we were excited from the start!
Since the Emerging Leaders group does so much work for the community, we were honored to be able to donate our tips to the local Wausau Boys and Girls club. Raising money through our dueling pianos show is just an added perk to this particular entertainment option, and one we love to work into the show.

Go Time for Dueling Pianos
Dueling pianos is a high energy all request show, and no one does this better than Felix and Fingers when it comes to private events. Give us a group of people wanting to see a show and we’re in heaven! The 200+ person guest list with company sponsored tables were in for a highly interactive show involving sing alongs, challenges on stage, and raising money for a great cause. These younger crowds are some of our favorites because we all grew up with the same music! All the classics from the 90’s are a staple of our dueling show, and we love every opportunity to bring back “Bye, Bye, Bye” and Smashmouth’s “All Star”.

So you’re hosting an event? Maybe a wedding, could be corporate, or it could be a just for fun fundraiser for emerging leaders. Whatever the reason, you need to check out The Great Dane. Food is great, drinks can’t be beat, and it’s a freaking brewery. Then mix that with a dueling pianos show, let it ferment, and the party is on!
