Excel Engineering in Fond du Lac, WI had a pretty good recipe for a holiday party. A beautiful venue, (Whispering Springs!) door prizes, a good spread and a great turn out of employees; all that was left was the entertainment, and Felix and Fingers was happy to provide! After an hour and a half of holiday favorites for dinner and cocktails, it was time to play what the crowd requests. As it turned out, the crowd wanted to challenge us – bring it on!
Where most of the time you’d expect typical piano favorites like Elton John or Billy Joel, they had us bust through our 90’s catalog with Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys. They even made me rap the Jay-Z part in Holy Grail! (Do you know how hard it is to bleep-as-you-go during that song?!) We were up for the challenge though, and even ended up going a little over time with so many requests! It was clear to see that the Whispering Springs corporate event was a success.
Despite the snowy outdoors, Whispering Springs in Fond du Lac was a warm haven for holiday fun that night.
During the course of the night, one of their employees came up to join us on stage with my guitar, as he busted out “All Summer Long.” Great job! Looking forward to that summer weather!
