Festive decorations, good food and holiday cheer are the makings of a great time, and that’s exactly what we found at the Deer Valley Lodge in Barneveld, WI., on the evening of Sielaff Corporation’s annual holiday party.

The forecast called for snow and sure enough, it was coming down hard when the party started. Felix and Fingers arrived early so we’d have plenty of time to set up. With a winter wonderland forming outside, and the heart-warming holiday atmosphere created by the venue indoors, Deer Valley Lodge was transformed into a picturesque setting for a holiday gathering. Even better — more than 100 employs from Sielaff’s showed up ready to have a good time!

The party was held inside Deer Valley Lodge’s beautiful private event room. The lodge’s decor is generally very rustic (which we love!), but the inside of this room is more contemporary, making it more suitable for a large corporate event. There was plenty of room for dancing, games and dinner for 100 people. The team at the venue set up spacious round tables for the guests, creating the perfect environment for a large group to laugh, chat and enjoy a buffet-style dinner. The cherry on top was an amazing dessert station!
Sielaff’s kicked off the evening with a cornhole tournament and cash prize. Between the buffet, upcoming holidays and Sielaff’s generous prizes, the crowd was tittering with excitement and we knew exactly what that meant — everyone was ready to party! The crowd loved our set and kept making special requests, which we were happy to oblige.

As the night went on, the dance floor filled and everybody had a great time. We played into the late hours of the night and left fingers sore, bellies full and feeling good. The rustic lodge, the 100 guests and Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos made for a fun corporate holiday party nobody will forget.
