Dueling pianos performed a Baraboo Arts Banquet Center wedding in Baraboo, Wisconsin. With brick walls and iron chandeliers, this venue makes a great backdrop for any event, including the infamous Ringling Brothers Circus (for more information on Baraboo Arts Banquet Center, please click here). We had a fabulous time playing for the couple and their guests at a venue with such rich history.
Baraboo Arts Banquet Center Wedding
On a mild Saturday in November, our couple hosted a traditional wedding. All decorations were made by the couple, including the white fairy lights that cascaded from the ceiling and down the brick walls. Banquet tables surrounded a wooden dance floor, where we were set up. The bride and groom exchanged hand-written vows during the ceremony, and guests fawned over the love emanating from the couple. However, this wedding had a rule: no phones allowed. We love this rule because who wants Uncle Marty holding up his phone in all your professional wedding pictures! The ceremony and reception were held in the same space, which created an intimate and romantic atmosphere uninterrupted by the outside world.
BBQ, Homemade Desserts and… Dinosaurs?
After the ceremony, the couple invited guests to get specially crafted cocktails from the bar. The buffet, to our excitement, consisted of bar-be-qued pork and chicken. The dessert table featured chocolates and caramels made from scratch by an aunt. Guests couldn’t get enough of these exceptional treats!
Once dinner was finished, our dueling pulled guests to the dance floor. As everyone boogied to the rhythm, one guest had a surprise for the bride and groom: an inflatable T-Rex costume. The guest showed off his or her impressive dance moves for half an hour. We loved the idea and couldn’t help wanting to join in with his or her dancing.
Over all, the wedding was filled with personal touches and tasty surprises. We wish our Bride and Groom a happy and full marriage and thank them for a great night.
