Dueling pianos takes us all over the country, and Sugar Land Texas quickly established itself among my all time favorite areas to perform. And for as fun as the show was, the rest of the trip was equally a blast!
Sugar Land Town Square

We’ve played a ton of public events and outdoor concert series during our dueling pianos escapades. Very few are as successful as what has been accomplished in Sugar Land. This vast town square directly in front of the city council building was otherwise surrounded by shops and high-end restaurants. And though we were expecting 200-300 people, we were stunned to see a turn out of around 1500 people in folding chairs ready to sing along with our dueling pianos show. The 2-hour event flew by!
Dinosaurs in Texas
We had a Halloween theme for this show, so per usual, I wanted to bring our Dinosaur costumes. These inflatable costumes have been a blast for select events, but imagine my surprise when management told me that there was going to be a special guest tonight: Jurassic Extreme! These are the life-sized raptors that have gone viral online. They were amazing, and it was slightly surreal playing a show with a huge dinosaur walking around the square.

Houston Texans
One reason this was such a unique trip was because I have a family friend who plays professional football for the Houston Texans – CJ Fiedorowicz. It’s not often that we’re on the road and get to spend our nights at a football player’s house. Huge thanks to CJ for hosting us this trip and good luck with the rest of your season!
Laser Shot
Half way through the show!
Thanks to our friends at Laser Shot as well who were kind enough to show us around the offices and allow us to demo their products. Laser Shot creates high end training systems for clients such as the US military. Jim G’s Dad works there and hooked us up with some afternoon activities!
Dueling and Touring
F&F loves touring the country bringing our dueling pianos show to as many people as possible. Making people laugh and sing is what we live for and it’s a pleasure to be able to perform in so many unique areas. Sugar Land was a blast and we hope for another opportunity to return to the Houston area for another event. Weddings, corporate, or public, we have it covered!
