What a great time it was for all of those who joined Felix for some Cherokee Lake Island Fun. It was our second time performing at the Island at Cherokee Lake and we were delighted to return.
Cherokee Lake Island Fun Venue
The Cherokee Lake community must be an awesome community to live in. This group seems to get together for all kinds of events. Residents enjoy all sorts of amenities such as a 9 hole golf course, a library, an activity center, and more. And, of course, don’t forget the lake! This beautiful property consists of 1500 residences and quite a few of them came out to see us perform.
We were quite overwhelmed with how accommodating they were. The temperature was soaring at 105 degrees. They took care of us though by bringing in an extra canopy to block the sun and some huge fans to keep us cool. It was such a totally chill day playing for those on the island as well as those cruising by on their boats. Heck No, You Can’t Go
This Cherokee Lake Island Fun event was one for the record books. We had some great requests from all ages. For starters, the kids in the audience wanted to hear some Disney tunes and we were happy to oblige. Under the Sea and Let it Go were huge hits. We also had a ton of young ladies wanting to hear Taylor Swift songs so Shake it Off and Blank Space had many of them on their feet with glee.
How Do You Like Me Now?! from Toby Keith had everyone singing and dancing along. It was an awesome night. The requests kept rolling in and didn’t stop. Finally it was time for our show to end but this crowd would have none of that. If fact, they talked us into playing for another two hours! Even after that, they wanted us to stay and party with them well into the night. We felt like we had made friends for life.
