Felix and Fingers performers Greg and Jami headed to South Dakota for this Deadwood Mountain Grand Wedding. We had a blast with our super fun couple, Kelsey and Steve. Best wishes and thanks for having us!
Deadwood Mountain Grand Wedding Venue
The Holiday Inn Resort Deadwood Mountain Grand was the home for this awesome wedding celebration. If you’re looking to be right in the heart of historic downtown Deadwood, this is the property for you. In fact, many of the rooms have balconies overlooking the town. We found their banquet facilities to be quite excellent for Kelsey and Steve’s special day. The catering was delicious and served by a very friendly and helpful staff. The reception space provided plenty of room to dance, which is huge for us. We loved traveling to Deadwood and experiencing another great venue. Please click here to view more of this property. We’re sure you’re going to love it.
Epic Moments for All
Not only do we have an awesome dueling piano show, but all of our performers are expert DJ’s. Many of our couples choose a combination of dueling pianos and a DJ set. It’s the perfect combination. After the ceremony, we DJ’d an awesome recessional as guests made their way from the ceremony room to the cocktail hour space. It was the Star Wars Throne Song at the request of our bride and groom. It was an epic start to the party. Once they entered the reception area, guests were blown away by the wedding cake. It was an exact replica of the bride’s parents’ wedding cake. Another epic moment for sure. There was also a 1929 Model A car on display. This belonged to the bride’s grandfather. It became a part of the photo booth and everyone was having a blast taking their picture in front of it.
Then it was time to party. We don’t always receive requests from the great Stevie Wonder, but this night we had four! This made our performer, Greg, quite happy as one of his favorite songs to play is I Wish. We also had some country music fans in the house and played A Country Boy Can Survive from Hank Williams Jr. The final epic moment came with the last song of the night. It was Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes I’ve Had the Time of My Life. Every single guest was on the dance floor singing along and it was an awesome end to an equally awesome night.
