Ohio weddings always seem to have the most fun. I’m not sure why this is, but I’m positive I’ve never played an OH wedding that I didn’t love. This Wedding at the Pine Ridge Country Club, just outside of Cleveland Ohio, was no exception.

A Beautiful Ceremony Venue
Wickliffe is a suburb east of Cleveland Ohio which boasts a venue perfect for weddings. The Pine Ridge Country Club has a gorgeous banquet hall with a great many historic touches. I don’t know the history of the building and am disappointed I failed to ask, but in a world of wedding mills, Pine Ridge Country Club stood out as a unique venue with character, something people can always appreciate.

A Classy Ceremony

The venue, Pine Ridge, was set up so that the Ceremony and Reception could take place in the same banquet hall, while also offering a cocktail area for guests while the room was being “flipped”. The Pine Ridge staff was more than on top of their game and had obviously set up this room hundreds of times!
The ceremony itself was short a sweet. The bride had requested that her friend sing during the ceremony, something that F&F are happy to accompany for…especially when they have exceptional voices. “I Choose You” by Sara Barielles was “chosen” song, and she nailed it. The room was then immediately flipped while cocktails were served, and guests were invited back for dinner.

I always ask our brides how much dancing they want/expect at their wedding on a scale of 1 to 10. This bride had given me a 5 thinking that her guests wouldn’t be huge dancers. Ha…
These guests danced all night. Our goal at F&F is to get people dancing, it’s a priority at every wedding, so it’s always personally rewarding to see a packed dance floor all night long. Don’t believe me? Just check out this time lapse video!
Pine Ridge Uplights
Uplights…do you need them?
Uplights are something we provide, and of all the options we offer, they probably have the greatest effect for the least amount of money. Seriously, check the difference! Pine Ridge is the perfect venue for uplights!
Making Wedding Memories
Weddings are something all our players love because it’s an opportunity to really make an important night a little bit more special for our brides and grooms. The weeks of prep, the learning of tunes, the 7 hour drive to OH and back are all totally worth it when a wedding really succeeds. It was a honor to be part of this (and every) wedding and we hope for more opportunities to return to Pine Ridge, and the Cleveland area with our Dueling Pianos wedding entertainment.
