Stillwater Place Fundraiser Event Cleveland, Ohio
As mentioned above, our fundraiser was held in a building on zoo grounds. Surrounded by stunning foliage, exotic animals and friendly staff, this was indeed one amazing fundraiser. With this in mind, Stillwater Place is Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s state of the art reception event center. This center also offers a notably spectacular view of Waterfowl Lake. Our Stillwater Place Fundraiser Event was held for foster children and their families. Foster the Future, a fundraiser event for the Cleveland Angels, took place inside the Cleveland Zoo. How cool is that? Our performers representing this fundraiser were our very own Kevin McHugh and Michael Sherman. Felix had actually performed in this same banquet room at a gig a few years ago. And to let you know, everything still runs perfectly at Stillwater Place.
A Very Successful Fundraiser For a Great Cause
Cocktail hour allowed our players to walk around the zoo and check out some of the animals. We heard a lion ROAR and saw beautiful giraffe eating leaves from trees. Very tranquil indeed, at least the giraffe part. Dinner and dessert were delish. It wasn’t long after dessert that our crowd started dropping requests on our pianos. We played them all. A heavy favorite was Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond. Felix and Fingers naturally guarantee to keep all guests happy during your entire event.
Our clients were extremely gracious and friendly hosts. Felix packed the dance floor with great songs such as Born in the USA by The Boss, aka Bruce Springfield. Above all, this fundraiser was so successful, they raised over $28,000.00. Felix happily raised $100 just to play Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Best highlight of this evening? Looking back, it was our client letting us know they’d actually LOVE to have us return for future events. We can’t wait!
