These heartfelt narratives added an emotional depth to the event, reminding everyone of the importance of their contributions. One of the more generous donors even got to slow dance on the dancefloor to his favorite song, “Stardust”.
As the evening progressed, the atmosphere became even more electrifying. A Tina Turner dance-off ensued during “Proud Mary”, complete with head shaking, shimmying, and all the “ROLLIN'” you could want.
A Night to Remember
The attendees, our hosts, and the company were absolutely wonderful, giving people. They came ready to donate, and by the end of the night, over a thousand dollars had been raised just by singing a couple of piano bar classics!
The evening concluded with the crowd belting out “Don’t Stop Believing”. The energy was so infectious that during “Sweet Caroline”, the crowd was split into teams “Bah bah bah” and “So Good So Good” to see who could be louder. By the end of it, everyone was singing, shouting, and having such a good time that it was impossible to tell who’d actually won.
