Felix and Fingers have been fortunate enough over the years to build relationships with great people: wedding coordinators, brides, event planners, venue owners, and more… In this post we just wanted to highlight some awesome relationships with a few of our favorite venues in the Chicago area. These are the places you can find us week in, week out, putting on public dueling piano shows!

We’ve been playing here every Friday night for a while now. Great food, great drinks, great location (right on the Fox River), and a fun group of people to play for. It definitely wins the award for best “riverside bar” we’ve come across. Come join us this Friday night from 9:00-12:00 (winter hours) for a great time!
Roscoes Tavern (Chicago)

We’ve had a steady Thursday night gig here for a long time, and are so thankful! We rock out from 10pm-1am every Thursday to a consistently awesome crowd. Foxy (aka Emily Henderson) is the crowd favorite at this place- she brings down the house with pretty much every song. We’ve made more money off playing “Frozen” here than Disney made on the actual movie. Just saying…
Hollywood Casino (Joliet)
Hollywood Casino, Aurora and Joliet IL
This place runs pretty much 24/7, and we have the pleasure of filling a few hours taking sing-a-long requests from the crowd! It’s typically a solo show, but still a great time – check our events calendar for when we’ll be playing at Hollywood Casino next (like this Friday and Saturday 11/28, 29)
Blackthorn Grille (Lake Villa)

I love Irish Pubs. There’s something warm and familial about the whole thing, and Blackthorn Grille is no exception! This room is perfect for dueling pianos. I will admit that we get more country requests here than celtic, but I’m sure the drinks are more Irish-inspired than anything else 🙂 Also, this is one of the few venues that provide full sized dueling piano shells. We love the setup at this venue, dueling pianos in the round, with two full sized shells. Come on out!
Durty Nelly’s (Palatine)

We’ll be playing our first show here tonight (11/26) from 10pm-1am! We can’t wait to see what this venue will be like to play for! So tell yo’ friends to get on over to Durty Nellies tonight from some rock’n dueling pianos! There are a few more dates on the books for December and January, and how can you go wrong with a venue like Durty Nellies?
Backstop Bar and Grill (Belvidere)

The epitome of your “neighborhood bar”, you walk into backstop and just feel like singing the “Cheers” theme song. The people are friendly, drinks are cheap, and if you’re lucky, some guy shows up with a limo and an entourage of 20 somethings from Chicago. We’ll be back again this weekend!
