This Island View Casino gig lasted three days. Felix traveled to Gulfport, Mississippi for three shows at the Island View Casino Resort. What an awesome time we had!
Island View Casino Gig
Felix and Finger’s first night playing here was for a private fundraiser. The next two nights were open to the public and we rocked it! These were dinner shows and we were told that many guests leave after the dinner portion. But not with us! They all stayed for the whole 90 minutes of our shows. Both nights! Yes, we know how to keep up the energy and have everyone so entertained they wouldn’t dream of leaving early.
We found the Island View Casino Resort to be a fun place to perform. Our point of contact person, Jennifer, was a great help. She made us feel totally comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed. In addition, she kept us well stocked with food and drink tickets! Thanks Jennifer. Fun Requests From All
These crowds had some awesome requests. From the old crooners to the new pop tunes, we played a bit of everything.
We had some university battles with requests coming from Old Miss fans, Bama fans, and other SEC schools. Those always get people involved. Of course the Bama fans wanted us to play Dixieland Delight by Alabama. We did, for sure, but we didn’t know about the lyrics those fans add to this song. That was a fun lesson!
