Shawn was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. In 2011, after finishing college at Ohio University, he moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue screenwriting. One day he stumbled into a piano bar, and convinced the musicians to let him onstage to play one song. After playing for almost an hour, he soon found himself on a new career path.

For the last eight years, he has been playing in piano bars all over the world and has a true passion for providing people with a good time. Aside from music, he enjoys writing and reading, playing with his dog, good coee, good beer, and is a die-hard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He lives and breaths by the Hunter S. Thompson quote: “anything worth doing, is worth doing right.”
