Julia grew up listening to strong female singers such as Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, and Adele. Drawing heavily from these influences she continued her path to performing.
It was not until she embarked on working on cruise ships that she realized this was something she could pursue professionally, forever. Leaving everything behind her, she went off and began truly learning what it took to live her dream. A few years of working on ships as one of the singers in the Showband and she stumbled upon their piano bar on board.
She had always played piano growing up but never thought she could combine both her love for singing and piano and make that her career. She soon left cruise ships and worked at a local piano bar in her hometown of Boston.
Every day she continues to grow and learn more and more about this world of “dueling pianos”. She knows more than ever that this is exactly the path she needed to take. Playing all of YOUR favorite songs is her favorite part of the job and creating memorable moments that you will take away with you for the rest of your life. It is a pleasure to be able to continue her music journey with Felix and Fingers.
