Casey hails from illustrious Oklahoma City where he began piano lessons at the tender age of 5. Classically trained with a penchant for the boogie-woogie, Casey has always been a pianist that straddles two worlds. (Not always at the pleasure of his piano teachers!)
He attended the University of Central Oklahoma and the University of Washington in Seattle for degrees in piano performance where he studied the great composers such as Beethoven, Rachmaninov, and Debussy. At the same time, Casey was performing in bars playing Bohemian Rhapsody one night, and accompanying the church choir the next morning. In fact, Casey’s first dueling piano venue was right next door to the church! It was at this point Casey discovered a love for dueling and directing the dance floor.
Casey now resides in Chicago where he spends his days teaching piano lessons, accompanying ballet classes at The Joffrey, and tearing it up on weekends with Felix and Fingers! And doting on his dog, Beignet, obviously.
