The Global Leadership Summit public event was held in South Barrington, Illinois at Willow Creek Community Church on a beautiful summer day. This was one of our longest outdoor shows Will and Ruben have ever played! This amazing place of worship invited every stage of spiritual growth to share in lessons across multiple sites and media. No show is too long for Felix and Fingers!

To start with, the Global Leadership Summit public event had guests walking in as early as 6:30 in the morning. In all honesty, they were all actually smiling, dancing and singing! The power of music is so beautiful indeed. Ruben (our team’s drummer) was outstanding at his performance. As a matter of fact, his pocket grooves added a valued element to our music. Songs such as Funky Drummer by James Brown and Feeling This by Blink-182 had our audience putting on cool moves!
Amazing Staff and Favorite Gig
Since this was an outdoor show, we would like to extend a very special THANK YOU to an amazing volunteer staff at the Global Leadership Summit public event. Not only did they make sure we stayed hydrated, but they even clothed us, bringing both our players Summit t-shirts. We LOVED the thoughtful gesture! Inspiring events happen at inspiring locations and Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington hosted a most fabulous day.
The Global Leadership Summit public event was one of Felix and Fingers favorite return gigs. Our performers kept the crowd dancing and singing to songs such as Oakland Stroke by Tower of Power.
We were so PROUD playing for some of the most amazing leaders at this divine gathering! Ruben eventually brought a crowd together for his Name That Song challenge. Everyone had a blast guessing his drum beats to famous songs. Most of the crowd guessed La Villa Strangiato by Rush, nobody guessed Hot For Teacher by Van Halen!
