Many of our subscribers/visitors might have already read about the history of dueling pianos through an earlier blog that we had posted. It was a rather short, but fun post with a video clip from a well-known movie.
“Dueling pianos” has been an evolving term. But I believe it has finally found it’s place in history where its reputable form of entertainment will settle. With dueling pianos all across the country, there is so much money invested in it, that changing the concept would confuse most people.
However, for traveling shows like Felix and Fingers, we’re still able to provide a unique service that takes dueling pianos beyond its general recognition by providing a more encompassing show (an emcee, planning, DJ’d music, photography and more,) wrapping it all into one perfect opportunity for several kinds of events.
But enough about what makes us unique. There are plenty of posts and videos you can watch right here on our website that will give you those details.
Right now, I’d like to present dueling pianos in a way that is NOT completely unique to Felix and Fingers. Rather, it is a generalized explanation of dueling pianos, as it relates to most acts these days.
Back To The Basics… And Not So Basic
We do get calls from time to time from those who are hearing the term “dueling pianos” for the first time ever. So for those who may be new to the concept, we have created a dueling pianos infographic that outlines general facts of most dueling piano shows.
Oh, and if you happen to be in the field of biology, perhaps you can let us know if we correctly explained the way people hear music (see below.)
Now remember… Felix and Fingers is NOT your average, run-of-the-mill dueling piano show. Our shows our catered so much more to your needs, and provide many additional services than what you are about to see…
So without further ado, here is the generalized dueling piano infographic. Enjoy!
