Are you at a dueling pianos show and love the music of the 80’s? Maybe even lucky enough to be at a Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos show? I’ll tell you some of the best 80’s Dueling Pianos Songs. I should preface this by stressing these are “some” of the best songs. The 80’s had some amazing freakin’ music!
The Best 80’s Dueling Pianos Songs
Living on a Prayer
This classic rock anthem will get everyone in the room singing along. Even the grumpy old man in the back watching the Clippers game will turn away for a quick second to shout out “Whoooooa we’re halfway there! Whooooooa! Living’ on a Prayer!”
Don’t Stop Believing
This song brings out what we in the music industry like to call “The Journey Effect.” Everyone stops what they’re doing and says, “Hey, is this Journey? I love Journey!”
Jessie’s Girl
This is an example of a song where the only lyrics that everyone knows are the words that make up the title of the song. When I sing it, I’m usually all alone on “You know I wish that I had….” and then I’m joined by the whole room singing “Jessie’s Girl!!”
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
This song had the power to make exactly half the people in the room stand up and start dancing. I’ll let you guess which half.
Love Shack
“You’re what?? Tin Roof! Rusted!” People will get really into this song, especially when we’re all banging on the door. I can’t hear you! Also, watch this music video if you haven’t. It’s better than you can possibly imagine.
Other Great 80’s Dueling Pianos Songs
These might not be the best but they are just songs I love.
You Spin Me Round
This song is just fun.
Total Eclipse of the Heart
In the mood to drop a few “F-Bombs?” Ask for The Dan Band Version.
