The Creekside Event Barn Wedding was a joy for Felix and Fingers performers Will and Jim. Not only did they find one of the best barn venues we’ve ever seen, but they were treated like royalty by the very attentive staff. Top that off with an exceptionally enthusiastic crowd and it was a night to remember for sure!
Creekside Event Barn Wedding in Roca, Nebraska
Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos travels to venues all over the country. We’ve seen a ton of venues, including many, many barn venues. Creekside Event Barn definitely takes the cake. With it’s rustic, yet elegant, decor, we’re sure the wedding photographs are going to be awesome. The space is amazingly well-renovated and contains all of the modern amenities. You will find the Creekside Barn at Roca Berry Farm, about 25 miles from Lincoln or an hour from Omaha. Truly, we can’t say enough about this gorgeous venue. There was a lot we liked about the Creekside barn besides the decor. First of all, it was a very hot day but the air conditioning was perfect. We were quite thankful for that. Also, the ceremony location is amphitheater style which allows perfect site lines for the guests as well as the photographer. Speaking of the photographer, we truly enjoyed working with them and be sure to check out the link below as we highly recommend them. They even gave us a Polaroid of us performing. Can’t wait to see the wedding photos! Finally, we must talk about Jared. Jared is probably the most attentive manager we’ve worked with. He was on top of everything; our drinks, announcements, really–everything.
Rollicking at Roca Berry Farm
This Creekside Event Barn Wedding at Roca Berry Farm was a blast. After an exceptional dinner of brisket and baked beans, as well as pasta Alfredo among other delights, this group was ready to party! Will and Jim kept everyone on the floor with all types of great song requests. There was your typical wedding songs like We Are Family from Sister Sledge and Kool & the Gang’s Celebration. The guests really showed their stuff with Sir Mix-A-Lot’s Baby Got Back. Even current top of the charts songs made it to the request list like Harry Styles’ Watermelon Sugar and Bang! from AJR.
This wedding was definitely one for the record books as everything just came together perfectly. We started with an amazing venue and exceptional staff. Then we had the pleasure of working with a wonderful photographer and videographer. The wedding party and the guests couldn’t have been nicer or more fun. And finally, it was just an awesome night of music from Felix and Fingers!
