Representing our SqWires Annex Wedding Celebration were Andy Burns and Nick Slater (Carswell). Moreover, what a charming wedding, held in a completely refurbished Victorian building. Located in St. Louis, Missouri, this amazing venue certainly has it all. Felix and Fingers wish Stephanie and Rebecca a lifetime of love and happiness!
SqWires Annex Wedding Celebration St. Louis Missouri
Located in the historic Lafayette Square neighborhood, and the former Western Wire factory, SqWires’ setting is truly picture-perfect. In fact, everyone adored the exposed brick, a beautiful balcony, 18 foot ceilings, and eight foot tall windows.
You’ll go gaga over the original iron fixtures and woodwork. Truly incredible surroundings. Furthermore, 5-star event coordinators and amazing chefs will make your day worry free with delicious cuisine. Above all, professional and friendly staff will keep your event running smoothly. All weddings should be dog friendly. Rebecca and Stephanie held their ceremony in a park, and everyone brought their pups. Not to mention, even their ring bearer was a dog! Our SqWires Annex Wedding Celebration was a brunch wedding. The first of its kind we’ve played!
Drag Queens and Brunch Wedding Celebrations
The bride’s choice of ceremony music went over very well. A lovely choice of processional/recessional songs. It was nice to welcome guests with some live background music. Especially while waiting for the happy couple. With professional staff running this wedding smoothly, everyone else could enjoy themselves.
This was a also a first wedding where Felix was able to experience a Drag Queen. She ALMOST stole the show from us! Felix loved this creative aspect to Rebecca and Stephanie’s wedding. We kept the entertainment rolling from start to finish with Roxxy Malone at our side. Felix had a blast. There was tons of laughter with this amazing highlight. In fact, dancing was at the top of our crowd’s list so we broke the ice with some 80’s tunes. Roxxy Malone loved to sing along so we lit into Take On Me by A-Ha.
Even though it was a different time of day for our shows, the crowd loved us and partied like it was nighttime. As a matter of fact, we couldn’t resist playing Dude Looks Like a Lady by Aerosmith. Between this song and a Drag Queen singing along, no one wanted for anything. There were tons of requests and we nailed them all. Our final song of the day was Piano Man by Billy Joel. Felix brought friends and family in a circle around the happy couple swaying and singing their hearts out. Another successful wedding celebration in our books indeed!
